# of parties

Total number of parties that visit your Visitor Centre in person. (eg. 1 family with 5 members = 1 party; one person traveling alone is also one party).  Record daily.

Number of people in the visitor party who visit the Visitor Centre in person.(eg. 5 family members = 5 visitors).Finding out the number of visitors in a traveling party can be difficult at times.Sometimes only one individual will walk in, or the whole party may enter.People will not usually disclose how large their party size is.The following prompt can be used to find out a traveler's party size: Prompt: "How many people are you traveling with?".If you do not know for sure how many people are in a party, record only the number of people that you can actually see in the Visitor Centre.

Community Specific Info

This is a chance for you to collect specific data about something that is of value/concern/interest to your operation. Each Visitor Centre can collect data for up to a maximum of 10 specific community related topics: eg. directions, tracking information requests for an annual event, where visitors cross the border, complaints/concerns about a transportation link/corridor, how much visitors plan to spend in the community, website hits, a specific activity, Whistler 2010 enquiries, etc.
